Everyone is individual so supplementation needs can vary individually based around specific symptoms. Listed and linked below are a few products I have personally found helpful for myself while navigating FQT/FQAD and why.
Supplement brands and sourcing does affect the supplements effectiveness and I have found these specific ones to work well.
You can find most of the supplements linked in one easy place here.
Magnesium Malate Known to be one of the more bioavailable forms of magnesium. Helps support fatigue specifically. Optimal magnesium levels are crucial in FQT/FQAD
One of my other favorite forms of magnesium. Raises magnesium levels in the brain, supports cognitive function, can have a calming effect.
Vitamin D3 + K2 helps the remineralization of bones and teeth, by escorting minerals where they need to go and more.
NAC is the precursor to glutathione production. It increases glutathione intra cellularly, and helps regulate glutamate levels (the excitatory neuron transmitter) that in excess contributes to anxiety and more.
“In human cells NAC is known for restoring our levels of glutathione, the substance key to human cells in balancing the cellular system against the destruction effect of reactive oxygen species (ROS), or excessive oxidation.” .. “NAC has properties that can block other inflammatory processes in cells that can cause pain and cellular damage. NAC is said to block DNA damage.”

L-theanine is the precursor to GABA. GABA neuron transmitters can be directly effected by FQs leading to symptoms of anxiety, depression, and more. Read more
The same Vitamin D in drops instead of capsule and without K2 (cheaper)
Electrolytes + Trace Minerals to support cellular health. One of the MOST helpful supplements apart from magnesium for me personally.
Higher dose Vitamin E. Vitamin E has been shown in studies to protect cells against Fluoroquinolone induced damage. (When combined with magnesium in rats)
ALA is a strong antioxidant, supports the liver, mitochondria, ATP production, nerve health and more.
L carnitine assist in the production of energy by transporting fatty acids into the cells mitochondria. Acetyl L carnitine is the form of carnitine that crosses the blood brain barrier and is more effective for supporting cognitive function.
Niacinadmide is a precursor of NAD+. NAD+ helps the body repair DNA damage
Supportive of fatigue, energy production, stress management, healthy cortisol production, and can be supportive of depression (*that’s derived from stress not GABA dysfunction) dysautonomia support, & healthy hormone production.
Supports collagen & connective tissue by supporting the specific pathways for collagen production that can be damaged by FQ use.
Therapeutic curcumin in suppository form. Anti inflammatory pain relief support. An alternative way for people to get in support whose stomachs do not tolerate supplementation well.
